ChRiStMaS DaY FuN!!!

Our Christmas morning began at 7:30 a.m.! That is the latest my kids have EVER slept in on Christmas! It may have had to do with my sister sleeping in the same room as them... I have no idea what they were doing but I could hear them plain and clear, and they were LOUD! Boston didn't want to stay up with them, he was too tired, so he and Halle were asleep in our bed and the crazies upstairs were up for quite awhile while Morgan and I were up "cleaning". I love the house to be all clean on Christmas, I don't know why cuz it gets trashed in about 30 min. The kids came down and got to see what Santa brought and I told them we had to wait for Halle to wake up before we could open presents, after about 15 min I could see that wasn't going to happen, so I went and woke her up. This is her little horsie Santa brought her and her baby doll that makes noises! She loves both of them! I thought she might be scared of her horse but she started pushing the buttons right away, and would sit on it if someone was by her!

My sweet little bug before I woke her up!

The kids playing with their karaoke machine.

This year Brinley got her own camera! I think she was very surprised!
She loved it!

This is Zach opening up his flatscreen T.V. for his bedroom.
I love the expression on his face!
I think he was pretty happy!

Halle was content to just sit there and hold her things! All the kids got pillow pets from grandma Udy (who didn't get a pillow pet this year?) haha

Halle opening up her paper plates that Boston picked out for her!
Yup that's what he wanted to get her, so we wrapped them up and put them under the tree!

Brinley is so thoughtful and always wants to get Morgan and I something. She wanted to "make"them this year, so I took her to Roberts and she made these letters with baseball paper and just mod podjed over it! They turned out really cute, and Morgan loved them!
She made me some really cute earrings!

Boston got the new Nintendo DS XL this year! And it is awesome, and HUGE! Morgan was helping him get it set up here!

After we were done eating breakfast Morgan came up the stairs with this new T.V. for our family room! He surprised the kids, I had given plenty of hints...
we were all pretty excited!

Boston and Halle had just as much fun in the box as they did opening presents, except these dang new flat screens they make now, the boxes are too skinny!

Halle's little baby came with a binkie attached to her, so she thought she needed one in her mouth too!

Cute little feet!

Halle's toes!

Brinley spent most of the afternoon doing this...
playing her new game Style Savvy for her DS!

We put a big blanket out with lots of pillows and watched UP on our new T.V. and blu ray player. I was tickling Halle with my feet and she was just cracking up!

One of Halle's favorite thing to do this Christmas was to get all of our singing snowmen and line them up and then push all their buttons to make them sing! She had lined them up on the couch and then gave me the funniest face when she saw I was going to take her picture!

Here is Zach's new flat screen, it is amazing how thin they are! His is a Razor, so it is even thinner than the one in our bedroom!

Boston took a 3 hour nap Christmas afternoon, none of my kids ever sleep on Christmas, we must not have been very exciting this year, or this kid really needs his sleep!!!

Back to Reality

Today we headed back to ReAlItY...

After the kids being out of school for 2 WHOLE weeks, and Morgan being off of work for 9 days, it was a much needed vacation for all of us, and we totally enjoyed it! But now we are back to bedtimes, homework, dance, basketball, and schedules!!!
It was so fun having the kids home for 2 weeks for Christmas Break this year, they have never gotten out of school for that long before! The week before Christmas was so nice to have them home, they were so much help, and I was able to get everything done early in the week, so we could just hang out Christmas Eve day and play games, and eat yummy food!
We decided to head to my parents in Logan on Sunday, we usually never go anywhere during Christmas, but decided we better go visit one last time before grandma and grandpa moved to St. George. We were only there for a couple days, Zach was playing in a basketball tournament in S.L.C that we had to get back for. He had a game Monday night that he and Morgan drove down for, and then came back to Logan. Kinds crazy, but I wasn't ready to leave yet. Tues. morning my mom wanted to take the kids to a movie, so we went and saw Yogi Bear in 3D! It was pretty cool to watch in 3D, and the kids actually kept their glasses on the whole time! Then Grandpa took us to Fox's Pizza afterwards and ordered the biggest pizza you have ever seen! I wish I would have gotten a picture of it! It was HUGE! We got on the road about 3:30 to drive to Zach's games at 6 and 9. It was so stinkin cold up in Logan, and yes, I was in my flip flops... I think people think I am crazy.
On Wed. my brother Matt and his family were driving home from Disneyland and stopped and stayed with us. They were going to drive home that night, but we had a huge snow storm, and the wind was blowing so hard! They went to leave and realized how bad it was and turned around and came back to our house! The kids were so excited to have a sleep over with their Idaho cousins they don't get to see that often!
On Thursday we took our tree down, and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned in order for more company on Fri. It felt so good, and gave us lots more space in our living room! I LOVE all of my Christmas decorations, but it always feels so good to take them down, everything always feels alot less cluttered! Zach wanted to change his room around, so we did that some of the morning, and I let the kids have sleepovers that night cuz Morgan's parents were going to be in town on New Years' Eve. The kids were up so late every night they were out of school, it was crazy!
On Friday Morgan's parents and his brother Wes and his 2 boys Chance and Kooper came and stayed with us. Chance is 6 months older than Boston and in the 1st grade, and Kooper is Halle's age and we had never met him! It was fun for the kids to play together. We exchanged Christmas presents, and the kids thought it was Christmas all over again!
They got so many nice things this year from everyone!
They are pretty spoiled if you ask me!
We rung in the New Year with all the kids being a little crazy! The babies were both sleeping, and the kids were all yelling, so I told them to open the front door and go yell outside. It was so funny cuz right as they started yelling a siren went off and they thought they were in trouble!
We spent most of the day Saturday putting the house back together! Morgan gathered all the dirty sheets, and towels from the house and made a big pile that needed to be washed. I am still working on that pile. I will probably have a couple loads each day to do!
I have to say it feels good to have the house in order again, and to have the kids going to bed at normal times again! Boston and Halle lost alot of hours of sleep the last couple of weeks! I can't say it affected Zach and Brinley much! :) Boston went to bed Sat. and Sun. nights at 8 and woke up at 8! This little boy needs his full 12 hrs of sleep! I must too, I laid down with him and Halle lastnight at 8 and never woke up till this morning... I was beat!

So, here's to 2011! I can't wait to see what it has in store for us! :)

The Night Before the Night Before Christmas...

The Night Before the Night Before Christmas...

Boston's teacher gave him this book for Christmas, it is SO cute! I'm so glad I read it because it helped me prepare myself better. I have everything done that I need to, so that I can hang out and enjoy my family tomorrow! We had a busy day today, but it was all worth it!

We have been doing alot of this at our house this week!
We have been dipping about everything in chocolate!
Even Halle helped!

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It has been so nice having the kids out of school all week! They have been so much help! It actually snowed on Tues. and they spent all day out in the snow PLAYING! It was so fun and actually felt like Christmas... until it rained for 2 days and melted all the snow away! Now everything is ugly and brown again! I love a WHITE Christmas!

Here is their snowman!
We got this snowman kit from one of our neighbors, they have been so excited to use it!
Isn't he cute?
His hat looks like it is floating on his head! Ha ha!

Brinley's DaNcE ReCiTaL!!!

I've decided that December is just a busy month for EVERYTHING!!!
On the last day of school Brinley had her winter dance recital for Jazz N Place held at WestLake High School. She had to be there at 5 for rehearsal which made it a really long night!
She had so been looking forward to this night for a very long time and had been working really hard on her dance and even learning a back walk over to do at the end of the show!
They danced to Miley Cyrus~Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, so wanted the girls to have a "Rocker" theme! They wanted their hair "BIG".
So, we put Brinley's hair in a mohawk and I ratted the heck out of it! She loved it!
So, we get to the dressing room at the school and walk in, and all the girls have their hair cute and all curled. Brinley was the only one with "BIG" hair! I thought she would care, but she didn't, and she was the cutest one there!
It was good for her brothers and her dad to support her, after all the ball games she sits through! ;)
They let the girls put their own outfits together too, instead of having a costume fee, which was really nice! Brinley did a great job, and was so fun to watch!
Her teacher Miss Mitchell even came to watch her, but I didn't get a picture of them cuz she just went and found Brin after her dance and had to leave. It was so nice of her to come though! Brinley just adores her! And I'm pretty sure she adores Brinley too!

Brin with her flowers from daddy!
Pretty sure the boys don't get those after their games!

Her whole outfit ensemble...

And a back view of the BIG hair!

Brinley with her little friend Chloe who is part of our "Tiger family".

Brinley on stage...
She was so cute, and did such a good job!
She had so much fun and has learned SO much this year with the new dance studio she is going to!

KiDs ChRiStMaS PrOgRaMs

This year we went to the school Christmas sing. They have it every year, but for some reason I never hear about it until after the fact... The parents aren't really invited, cuz they don't have room for everyone, but for the parent's that want to go, and actually know about it go!
They hold it in the gym, and are actually really organized about the whole thing! The only thing I wish they would have done was invite the P.M. kindergarten class to come sing since it was held in the morning. I took Boston and Halle with me, and he really wished that he could have sang with everyone!
It was really fun to watch and listen to the kids sing. They have the same songs they do for each grade, so by the time your in 6th grade, you know all the songs! I love Christmas songs, and it is so magical when kids are singing them!

Zach and his buddies from his class.

My sweet little Boston in his kindergarten program.
It is always my favorite!
They are SO cute!

Here he is doing his part for the Twelve Days of Christmas...
He had his VERY own part, and surprised us all when he sang,
"A Partridge in a Pear Tree"
all by himself, with his cute little voice!
(yes, I got it on video!)

Here he is with his little reindeer antlers on!
They get so into each song, I love it!

Halle had quite the week at the school, she was pooped after it all and fell asleep in her carseat, which she hardly EVER does! And I loved her little hands folded together! So sweet!

6th GrAdE CoUnTrY FaIr

The 6th grade at Zach's school does a Country Fair every year. Why they choose to do it in December, I'm not really sure... When Zach came home and told me about it, I was dying at all the things they had to do!!! I was thinking in my head, "Really, one more project I have to do?" Well, it turns out they do almost ALL of it at school! It was fabulous! And a great chance for the kids to have to do something on their own... hahaha! No, really, Zach worked really hard on this project, and put alot of time into it... and the best part of all, he did it by HIMself!!!
It was so fun to go to the gym and see all of the different things the kids had done!
I was way impressed!

They each chose a country to do their report on.
Zach chose Greece.
I'm not sure why, but he did.
He drew all the maps and typed everything out,
and made THIS flag!

Way to go Zach! We are proud of you!

Science Fair is next... can't wait!

Brinley's birthday cont...

We woke Brinley up bright and early the morning of her birthday. The kids always think it is Christmas on their birthdays and think they need to open their presents right when they wake up. Morgan had to leave for work at 7:30 so I got up and made Brinley's special birthday breakfast and we woke up the kids at 7. Not Halle, we let her sleep! I NEVER wake up my babies when they are sleeping!!! Brinley was pretty sweet when we woke her up, even though she was tired!

This was her face when she walked down the stairs and saw her cruizer bike sitting in the living room!

Boston made his sister a special present. He made her little elf, santa, and reindeer puppets on popsicle sticks. He drew, colored, and glued them all by himself! He was so excited to give it to her!

I caught Brinley yawning right as we were singing to her eating her breakfast!

We aren't used to waking up that early before school, so I had time to curl Brinley's hair. She loves it when I have time to do her hair cute! She was lookin pretty stylin when she headed out the door for school!

These are her new boots she picked out at Journeys for Kids!
(high heels and all!)

She of course chose her FAV place to eat... Teppanyaki Steakhouse. This is her walking up the "red carpet" feeling like a queen...

as her brothers opened the door for her like little gentlemen!

The ice cream sundae at the end was almost her favorite part of the dinner!

"Hangin" with Dad!

Her cousin gave her these cute p.j.'s from Justice. Had to get a pic of the kids together!

Sonnet came over after and brought Brinley her favorite candy bar... not one... but 4!

Brinley and I went and got pedicures, I would say pretty spoiled!!! This was her first "real" pedicure! She loved getting pampered! Who doesn't? :)

Here she is on her new cruizer bike! So cute!

The 2 littles were sleeping, too tired to stay up and party! It was actually a pretty quiet night! It was so weird with them sleeping!

Sonnet and the kids!

This year instead of a traditional cake I decided to get an ice cream pie at Cold Stone! It was so yummy! It was Cake Batter ice cream with Cookie Dough in a Graham Cracker crust! The best surprise of the day was when I walked in to get it I saw that there is a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory inside Cold Stone! (Where have I been?) I had to get my sweet girl a carmel apple, one of her many faves!

Brinley's GOOFY side!

HaPPy BiRtHdAy BrInLeY!!!

I feel a little sleep deprived right now, but I couldn't go to bed tonight without telling our little princess HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We got back from Morgan's work party late tonight and by the time we got the kids to bed it was 11:30 (yes, on a school night! Their teachers are going to love me!) I have been doing laundry all day, and when we came home I realized what a wreck my house was! Anyone who knows me and knows me well, knows that I LOVE to stay up at night! That is MY time! I love it when the house is quiet, and everyone is sleeping and I can do the things I need to without any interruptions! I got more done in the last hour and a half than I would in a whole days work! The only bad thing is I will pay for it tomorrow, but I will just go to bed early (mmm, sounds nice! We'll have to see if that actually happens!) The only time I get to get on the computer is when my baby is sleeping, (and anyone who knows my baby, knows she doesn't like to sleep!) she HATES me being on the computer, which makes it hard for blogging! I feel like I can't get anything done during the day because she is right behind me "un" doing everything I just did! :) Cute little thing! So, most days, I just let it go, until like a day today when I just decide to stay up and clean and get the house organized. My little Boston has been making snowflakes all day, and I literally had little pieces of paper all over the house! He would be so excited after he made each one he would come in and show me his new creation! If I would have had time I would have sat down and made one with him, but instead I had Zach google how to make a snowflake and they watched the video together and away he went! Gotta love older brothers! I wish I would have taken a picture of the pile of paper on the table before I cleaned it up tonight, but I didn't think of it till after! I put all 50 of his snowflakes in a special box, so when he asks where they are, I can tell him "right here"! I told him we could hang them up in the window they were so awesome! So after I cleared off the table, I swept the floor, and then I decided to unload the dishwasher, and loaded it back up with dirty dishes from the sink! I started another load of wash, because the 5 loads I did today wasn't enough! I got my vacuum out today, but never got around to it, so instead of letting it sit out all week, I decided to vacuum tonight even though, everyone was sleeping! Have you ever vacuumed in the dark? I love it! The light from the vacuum lets you see exactly what it is picking up, or shouldn't pick up for that matter! It is so much more fun to vacuum at night than during the day! I folded up all the blankets that were on the couch and picked up all the toys that were on the floor! I am getting up in 4 1/2 hours to make Brinley her special birthday breakfast, so I better get to the point here so I can get to bed! ;)

It was 9 years ago today that this sweet little girl came into the world! I can hardly believe that she is growing up right before our eyes!
This picture of her above she is 7 months old, in our first townhouse in St. George, where her and Zach were both born! Brinley was a happy baby, but wouldn't let anyone else hold her but her mommy! (sounds like someone else I know...) she has always been pretty quiet around others, but can put on quite a show at home! :) She gets really goofy when she is tired, and makes us all laugh quite often!
She is totally into her clothes this year, and is very picky about what she wears! I wish I had half the wardrobe that she does! And I wish I looked as good as her in it!
I can always count on a compliment from her, ex: if I do my hair different, wear something new, etc... she is Halle's 2nd mommy, and is SO good with her! She is so natural taking care of her, and I love watching her with her little sister because it shows what an awesome mommy she will be one day! She prayed so hard for this sister of hers, and they just love each other, and will always be the best of friends!

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?

A few of Brinley's favorites:

She LOVES chocolate! She will jump at any chance she gets to have some chocolate! I remember her daddy running to Maverik one night to get her a Hershey's bar cuz she was in the MOOD! And we didn't have any at the house! (which is rare!)
She also has her daddy wrapped around her finger! All she has to do if she wants something, is go up to her dad and look at him with those eyes, and give him a big hug and a kiss, and the answer is always YES! He used to always say "for a kiss I will" but she knows the routine now!
Brinley is usually doing cartwheels, backbends, the splits, you name it around the house, she took gymnastics when she was little, for like a year, but it just comes naturally for her! She just learned how to do a back walk over and is so excited cuz she gets to do a special part in her dance recital on Fri.!
When it comes to food, Brinley is actually really picky, and it takes her FOREVER to eat! She says she is always the last one at lunch to get done! And her friends are so nice to her, they always wait! She loves noodles WITHOUT sauce, and mashed potatoes WITHOUT gravy! She doesn't like to eat alot of meat- probably cuz her brothers like to talk about where it comes from every time we eat it! Brinley is my water drinker! This girl drinks water ANY time of day and prefers it over any other drink! My mom thinks its so weird that in the morning for breakfast she just wants water instead of O.J. or milk! One time we were at our friends house for a New Year's party and I walked into the kitchen and Brinley was sitting there drinking a can of Coca-Cola! I was shocked! It was like I was looking at her drinking a can of beer or something! ha ha! She hardly EVER drinks pop, so it was really weird for me! I just had to tease her about it!
Lately Brinley likes to pretend she has braces! She will get a paper clip and undo it and put it on her teeth and go around like she has braces! Why is it these days, kids wanting braces and glasses? Back in the day, you were a total nerd if you had them!
Brinley is the peacemaker in our home, she is always trying to please others, and wants everyone to be happy! She is a great sister and would do anything for anyone! She is a good example to her friends, and family! We love you sis! You have grown up so much this last year since you were baptized!

More "post" birthday pictures to come! :)
GOODNIGHT!

ChRiStMaS SuRvEy...

I ran across this the other day, and thought it looked fun...

How do you transition yourself from one holiday to the next?

I love decorating for all the different holidays! I especially love when FALL comes around, there is just a newness in the air, that makes it "feel" different!

-When do you put up your Christmas decorations?

We usually decorate before Thanksgiving, since we are never home for Thanksgiving. It is so nice to have it done when we get home! I will never forget our first year living here, when we drove back from Arizona Sunday night, our WHOLE street had their lights on! We hadn't even put ours up yet, so we remembered the next year and got them up early! :) Every Veterans Day (Nov. 11th) the bank is closed, so Morgan has the day off. That has been his designated day to put the lights up on the house! Usually there isn't any snow yet, and it's not too cold! It always feels super early, but it's nice to get them up! This year, it put a bug in me, and I got all excited and even put my Christmas stuff up then! I must have been sick of my FALL decorations!

-Do you wrap all the presents throughout the month and put them under the tree, or do you wait until Christmas Eve?

I usually try to plan a night to get all my wrapping done before it's too close to Christmas, once they are wrapped they go under the tree! The kids always have fun counting how many they each have! I have to be careful to make it FAIR! This year I am afraid to put them under the tree because of what little Halle might do to them! I will have to test a couple and see what she does! She has been super good with the tree being up! I was worried she would pull the whole thing down on her!

-Do you warn your kids that Santa might NOT be bringing them what they want for Christmas this year?

YES! I like to tell them that they most likely won't get everything on their list, but that it is fun to have a "wish list" of everything you ever wanted, even if you only get a couple things from it! As they get older, their list definitely gets more expensive!

-Do you decorate your Christmas tree with colored lights or just white?

WHITE!! :)Well, I have white lights on the tree, and colored lights on the house! I love the white, it just looks so clean, and crisp!

-Have your children watched all the old Christmas movies that you watched when you were little?

We have the three pack of Frosty the snowman, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, and Santa Clause is coming to to town. We also watched Christmas Vacations last year for the first time with the kids! Boy, do you ever look at a movie differently when your kids are watching it with you! We ALWAYS watched it growing up! The pool scene was really the only thing! ;) Home Alone is always a good one too! I love that ABC family shows a Christmas movie every night through the month of December!

-Do you let your children open a gift on Christmas Eve?

It's been tradition since I was little to open up p.j.'s every Christmas Eve, I think it's just so everyone looks good for pictures Christmas morning!

-Does everyone have the same stocking each year, or do you purchase new ones every Christmas?

We always have matching stockings, but I have changed them a few times! When Boston was 3 I got all new stockings from Pottery Barn Kids. I was thrilled when Halle came along that they still had the same ones so I could get her one to match!

-Does your Christmas tree have a different theme each year?

Nope, we just add more ornaments each year. I try to get my kids each a new ornament each year, so they each have one from the year they were born, till the age they are now. Our tree is totally for the kids! I would love to have a themed nicely decorated tree, but I have my whole life for that! :) I love that our tree is totally the kids things, it is so fun, and they love to see "their" things displayed! I know I will miss it when they aren't around, so I'm going to enjoy the big clumps of ornaments hung in one spot! Because THEIR little hands put them there!

-Artificial tree or real?

We have always had a REAL tree up until 3 years ago, my mom happened to be getting a new artificial one and asked me if I wanted hers. It is a hard transition to make, but I have to admit a FAKE tree is the way to go! It is so nice not having to water it, and having needles ALL over the floor! Ours would always get so dry the last 2 weeks that I never dared turn the lights on, afraid it would catch on fire!

ChRiStMaS CaRdS!

K- so I have waited to put any of our family pictures on my blog until I sent our Christmas cards out! Didn't want to ruin the surprise for anyone!!! hahaha! So, now that they have officially been sent I decided to add a new pic on my header. Yes, our heads are cut off in this picture on purpose! It drives my mom crazy when I do pictures like this, and I'm sure she will comment on our heads being cut off, and wonder why we would want to do that! I love picture of our feet, they are just fun and different, not to mention the fact that we are such "barefeet" people!
So, I was wishing this week that I would have done my Christmas cards when we got our family pictures taken in Oct. but it seemed way too soon! I was determined to get them ordered over the weekend so I could pick them up on Mon.! I picked them up at Costco that day and stayed up till 2 in the morning stuffing and addressing the envelopes! I have been doing our addresses on the computer for the last few years, and it makes it so much nicer than handwriting every card! I always add a few more every year, so it is nice to have it all on the computer and keep it organized! I had Boston put on the stamps for me the next morning, he had fun helping me! I think his favorite part was taking them to the post office and dropping them all in the big blue mailbox! We ran to mail them before school on Tues. and when we got in the car he said "Mom, I think I'm going to be late for school, we don't have time to deliver all of these right now!" He is so cute, he thought we were going to personally deliver all of our cards this year! So I had to explain to him that by putting the stamp on the envelope meant that the good 'ol mailman was going to deliver them for us! Pretty amazing how all that works!
I know last year at this time I had a TON of cards! I go out to my mailbox everyday so excited to see who we have gotten cards from! We have hardly gotten any this year though! I'm hoping it is cuz everyone is just a little late sending them out, and that they haven't just taken us off their list! :) I hope I get them all next week to make up for it! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE getting Chrsitmas cards from people! It is so fun to be reminded of all of our friends and family who we love dearly!

Snow Springs Elementary
6th Annual Turkey Trot

Kindergarten:
1st place- Boston Bingham

6th Grade:
1st place- Zach Bingham

The last day of school before the kids get out for Thanksgiving Break is when they always hold the Turkey Trot! Something my kids always look forward to!
It was also the day Stormageddon was supposed to hit Utah. It was cold and windy and we got maybe 2 in. of snow, but it definitely wasn't all it was cracked up to be! It makes it a little tough to be packing up and getting ready to go out of town, but I always manage to work things out! This year I didn't have much packing to do since we were coming home Thurs. night, so it made it alot easier! They moved all the times for the Turkey Trot up because of the storm, so I didn't get to see Zach and Brinley run. I was SO sad! Zach called me at lunch and told me he got first place! Brinley had to run the "long" race this year since she was older and she ran out of gas at the end! She said she felt like she was going to throw up. I'm glad she didn't! We didn't prepare her very good, next year we'll do better! :) When I took Boston to school, I just hung out until they were ready to start, I wasn't going to miss his first time racing! I'm so glad I stayed to watch! He led those kindergarten boys to the finish line! He was so fun to watch! We all survived the cold and wind and were ready to hit the road to drive to St. George before the storm rolled in!

Me and the kids after Boston's race.
I went and got Zach and Brinley out of class to come watch him!
I thought it was so cute that they wanted to be there!

My BOYS!

Boston was so excited for his "Thanksgiving Feast" at school! It was all he could talk about for 2 weeks! They got to make pilgrim and indian costumes. He was a pilgrim, which he wasn't too thrilled about, but I thought his costume was darling. I asked him what they did, and he just said... EAT! He said when they were getting read to EAT that a little boy asked if they were going to say a prayer on the food first! Ha ha! He said his teacher just laughed and said no and told them they could go ahead and eat! Gotta love it!

We went down to St. George to my aunt Darla's house for Thanksgiving dinner. The weather was so nice there! I love it! It was a short trip. We had to come home that night cuz Morgan had to be to work at 8 o'clock Friday morning! YUCK! We left around 8 and the kids slept the whole way home! :) But then they were wired when we got into town and stayed up until 4 in the morning! We were a little backwards that weekend, but they had fun! I stayed up till 1 with Halle, and decided to finally take her to bed. I didn't hear a peep from the kids, but I woke up at 4 and all the lights were still on, so I went to check on them, and they were all sound asleep in their beds! CRAZY KIDS!

I loved this picture of my sister and Brinley!

Boston really wanted to stick his face in his chocolate pie, I'm not sure why? Probably cuz that's what his big brother liked to do when he was his age! He thought it was pretty funny, and fun! No one else joined him though.

I didn't get a ton of pictures from our weekend. We also took the kids to see Tangled while we were in St. George. It was SO cute! I think I may have liked it more than my kids! ;) We met my cousins and their kids there, so there was a whole crew of us!
On Friday when we got back the kids got to see their "Funny Uncle Matt" he flew in from Phoenix for the weekend. Morgan, Jason, and him took the kids ice skating, they had tons of fun. I didn't send the camera, so no pictures there. I love that Matt always makes an effort to come see my kids even though he lives far away. He is so cute with them, and is always playing with them, he lets them climb all over him and jump on him, and goes home exhausted! Halle even warmed up to him while he was here! I was so proud of her!
I am so thankful this holiday season for my family, my health, a warm house to live in, my freedom, and everything we get to enjoy in this wonderful country we live in!
