Our LiTtLe Halle

Our Beautiful girl is a month old!!! We just adore her! It is crazy to be back in the newborn stage of diaper changes and feedings every hour it seems! It is so hard not getting sleep, but this too shall pass, right?  We survived our first week of school.  The kids love their teachers, and are excited to be learning new things again.  Boston and I are taking good care of Halle during the day, he is such a good helper and loves me to do things with him while she is sleeping!  Morgan is surviving work every day and has been drinking alot more Pepsi to keep him "fueled"! He runs to football with Zach every night after work, he is such a good dad!  I feel so grateful for my family, and for our health! I love my kids and my husband and couldn't ask for anything better!  I just wanted to share some updated photos of Halle, they change so quickly!

Zach always begs to lay with Halle at night.  I needed his help one night and gave in and let her lay in bed with him.  Too sweet! He looks like a natural! I love that he has his finger in her little hand!

We laugh every time someone is holding her on our shoulder, her little chubby cheek smushes her eye closed on one side!

Notice her little thumb tucked inside her hand... this is how her fingers always are when she makes a fist.  It is so cute! I was telling Morgan that is how I have my hands when I go running, it is just habit to tuck my thumb in my fingers! Funny she has that same habit!

Taking  a nap! (Love those cheeks!)

Precious little feet! (Notice I painted her toenails, I couldn't wait any longer!)

Taking a nap on mommy!

The kids were outside after school today and ran in to me and said the corn was ready! Kudos to my husband and kiddos for planting a garden this year! The stuff actually grew!!! It has been so nice having fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, and we can't wait to get more corn! Yummy!

My sWeEt little boy!

Last night when it was time to go to bed, Boston wanted to sleep with his basketball! I was like, whatever makes you happy boy! He wouldn't let me take a picture of him cuddling it, but after he was asleep I snuck back in and snapped a picture!  He is my little buddy! I have been debating whether to put him in preschool this year, it is his last year home before he starts kindergarten! I was afraid he would be bored at home with just me and the baby after the kids entertaining him all summer long!  Who am I kidding?  He is my biggest helper, and just LOVES his sister! The other night he was in the kitchen and I was on the couch feeding Halle, I said Boston what are you doing?  He said "just making some dinner" I said "how come?" and he said "well, because we don't have any"! I cracked up laughing! He says the funniest things, I just wish I would write them down when he says them, cuz it's so easy to forget!
He did tell me yesterday though, that Halle was ruling the house, and because of her I couldn't play with him anymore! It made me so sad! I still try to do things with him, it is just hard! I feel like I don't get to do anything for myself anymore.  Which is fine, I'm not complaining.  I was talking to my sister in law and told her that I feel like Elastigirl from the Incredibles.  I feel like I'm stretching myself so far trying to juggle everything right now.  If I fail at anything, I don't want it to be at mothering.  I want my kids to know how much they mean to me and how much I love them.  I would sacrifice anything for anyone of them! And I have to thank my sweet husband for giving them to me! They mean the world to me!  Little babies are just a complete miracle... oh they are so sweet!

Boston with his basketball!

First Day of School!

The kids went back to school last Thursday, I can't believe it! Thankfully they were excited to go back! Brinley, a little more than Zach, but that is because she loves her teacher! I am so happy!  I totally took Brinley school shopping before the baby (thank goodness) and she wanted a new backpack this year, the kind that rolls.  Zach could have cared less! He wore basketball shorts and a t-shirt all summer long (hmmm who else does that sound like?) I tried to get him to wear something else on the first day, but he didn't want to . Oh well, he still looks handsome! I'm just glad I have my girls to shop for, cuz I'm finding out that boys... well they just don't care!

My little Brinley starting 2nd grade!

Zach known as "Z" to everyone else starting the big 5th grade!

Brinley walking with her "new" backpack.

Brinley will still let me go into her class with her and take pictures. Zach is a little past that point, but we did walk by his classroom and wave, it probably embarrassed him, but oh well, I had to make sure he made it safe! The kids have been riding their bikes while the weather is still nice, I'm going to take advantage as long as I can before I have to start packing the baby around in her car seat.

Halle's pictures...

I had Halle's pictures taken when she was just 9 days old! They turned out so cute! To check them out go to Bauco Photography on the side of my blog, she put just a few on there!  There are some of my kids with her too, that turned out really cute! I can't believe my baby is 3 weeks old!

My Baby is 2 weeks old!

It was two weeks ago today that I went in for my doctors appointment only to find out that my blood pressure was sky rocket high and I had all the signs of preclampsia and didn't even know it!  They sent me over to the hospital to be monitored to see if my blood pressure would go down, and ran some blood tests.  After two hours of waiting to see if I was going to be started or not my blood pressure kept going up.  My doctor was out of town, so the other doctor that was on call decided it would be best to deliver the baby! My nurse came in and told me the news, and I was SO thankful! I was ready to have this little girl here! I was a little stressed that I didn't have my bags packed, but figured I would survive.  Morgan came up to the hospital when he found out what was going on, and I had him bring the cameras... that was all wee needed right? :o)  So, it was 1:00 in the afternoon and we were getting things started! I was excited and nervous at the same time! I had anticipated this day for a long time, and now that it was here I was scared.  I hoped and prayed that everything would be o.k. I think it is only natural to worry when we have these precious little lives inside of us! It is truly a miracle!  It was a LONG afternoon.  I had to be on magnesium, which is a nerve and muscle relaxer.  I totally felt out of it and SO tired! I hated it! I felt like I could have just gone to sleep.  My family came up to the hospital and we were just hanging out! This labor was totally different than my others.  I had already gotten my epidural and was in no pain, so we were all just waiting! It was 7:30 by the time the doctor got there to break my water, but once he did, things started moving!  I had gone from a 3 to a 9 in about thirty minutes, and it was time to PUSH!  We sent the boys out in the hall, and my sweet husband, my beautiful little girl, my mom, and my sister all stayed in the room! It was a great experience to have them all in there! Definitely something we will always remember!  Our healthy beautiful little baby girl arrived at 9:39 that night! What a relief to finally have her here!  The instant love you feel for these little ones is so powerful! She makes our family complete, and it feels so good! I was truly blessed through this pregnancy, and our prayers were answered!  We are totally enjoying every moment with her.  I am so glad it is summer time and the kids have been able to be home.  I have had so much help! Morgan was able to take a whole week off to be with us, and when he left my mom came down to take care of us! Today is the first day I have been here alone with all 4 of my kiddos!  We started off the morning with dentist appointments for the kids at 10:00 and Halle's 2 week check up after that!  I have the best kids in the whole world, the morning went smoothly, and we all survived! I even got to come home and take a nap! Halle's appointment went good, she is growing and is up to 7 pds. 12 oz. and 21 inches long! YEAH!  I forget how hard the nights are, but she is totally worth it! It is actually one of my favorite parts of the day, when it is just me and her at night, she is so sweet! I just love holding and loving her! They grow up way too fast!  I am so grateful for my wonderful family! I couldn't ask for anything better! I love you guys!

Her sweet little feet!

She loves to have her hands on her face! My sister was laughing saying it looked like she was playing peek a boo!

This was the first time I let Brinley stand up with her, it just makes me nervous while the baby is still so little.  My kids do awesome holding her though!

My cute little Boston loving on his sister! He always is kissing and hugging her!

One proud BIG brother!

Halle's first bath at home! We had LOTS of helping hands!

She fell asleep right when it was over!

Morgan providing some entertainment for Boston! He has had alot of "extra" energy! Morgan would throw him the football, and he would dive on the bean bag to catch it! He thought it was pretty cool!

Zach getting ready to go to football practice! They have already started and have practice EVERY night for the next 3 weeks! He loves every minute of it! This is definitely his sport!

Zach has been going to physical therapy for his foot, he has had problems with his arches.  They tape it up when he goes to help it feel better during football.  One night when he was at practice Brinley decided to wrap up Boston's foot! He wanted to be just like his big brother!

When my mom was here, we left the kids with Morgan one afternoon and went out to look for a blessing dress, we were only gone a couple of hours (just in time for Halle to eat again!) and when we came home he had both the kids on his lap asleep! I'm sure he enjoyed some shut eye too!

I love how she has her legs stretched out in this picture!

The kids made a fort downstairs in the basement the other day.  It is their new favorite place to play, and I love it cuz my family room stays clean!

Our sweet little angel! We are SO happy to have her here, and healthy! What a little miracle!
Life is definitely more busy being a mother of 4! I guess that's why it's taken me a week to post any pictures! My sweet husband knew me well and came home the night she was born and put it on my blog! I can't believe he figured it out! Way to go honey! I had to come and put some pictures on though! I have a TON and will post more later, but I am tired and going to bed! So this can be your sneak peak! Check back for more!
Oh, by the way we did change the spelling on her name if you were wondering.  We kept going back and forth in the hospital and liked this way the best! :o)

Hallie Bingham Has Arrived!!!

I am excited to announce that my little angel Hallie Bingham has arrived.  Both she and her beautiful mother are healthy tonight.  She was born at 9:39 PM, weighed  7 pounds and 7 ounces , and is 19 inches long.

It was the longest labor of any of our children but well worth the wait.  We all feel blessed that she is here and that all is well.  We love her!!!

Fishing at Vivian Park

The other night my sister gave us the idea to go up the canyon and cook hot dogs and marshmallows.  How come I don't ever come up with fun ideas like that?  So, we had to throw in the fishing poles too! And to make my job easier we just grabbed Subway on the way!  We did cook smores in the fire though, and they were yummy! My sis taught me that if you set the chocolate bar in the ashes next to the fire, it melts and gets all runny and you can just pour it on! Much better than biting into a big chunk of chocolate! The kids had a ball fishing, sissy is the only one who caught one (actually 2) though!  We don't even like to eat fish, so we usually just put them back in the river! You have to be quick though!
Brinley and her 1st fish! (of the night)
When we put him back into the river he wasn't looking so good.  Sonnet had to jab him with a stick to give him a little help! He flipped over and swam off right into the moss, so we couldn't see him anymore.  She and the kids were worried about him all night hoping he was o.k. They even named him Frankie and blessed him in their prayers that night!

Looking for a "bite"

My ankles were SO swollen and my sis thought it would be funny to take a picture of my ankle next to her skinny little thing! She had never seen my ankles like this before! And neither have I! It isn't very fun, I've never been pregnant in the summer before, and this is one of the pleasures I get to enjoy!
Fishing in the dark!

Boston playing in the fire pit!

We had so much fun! Thanks Son for the fun idea and for coming with us!

Bee's game!

Last Tuesday night we met my brother Rhett and his family at the Bee's game in S.L.C. my sister also came and brought a friend with her.  It was SO HOT but the kids had alot of fun! We ate Snowies and Hot Dogs, and of course had to go on the train ride! We got there just as they were giving the last ride, and I had to talk the guy into doing one more for the kids!  Chris Shelton was playing for Washington which was who we were really there to see.  It's always fun to watch someone you know play.  He was friends with my Rhett and played for my dad too.  The kids thought it was fun to go down and talk to him and have him sign their balls, and of course we had to get a picture!
The boys and their balls! (he he)

The train ride!

Cute cousins!

I can't believe I had Morgan take this picture, but it was going to be the last time we saw each other before we both had our babies!  Bobbie Jo is having hers C-section on the 17th (this Friday!) and I am scheduled to have mine on the 28th! These two little cousins are only going to be 11 days apart! How fun!

Udy family July 2009

Over the 4th of July my family all went to Park City for my dad's baseball tournament.  Zach and my nephew Austin were both playing and everyone else was there for fun! Also, my brothers were both helping with the tournament so they kinda had to be there! My brother Ryan and his family drove here from Tennessee to spend a few weeks, and this was their last little hurrah before they headed back home! Anyone who knows my mom very well, knows that her pride and joy is having her family together! And according to her we don't do it enough!  My dad got us all a couple of condos to stay in together and it was a fun few days, full of baseball games, swimming, fireworks, more baseball games, eating, and having fun!  My mom insisted that we get a picture of everyone together and after the fireworks was the only time that happened, so it was kinda dark, but it still turned out pretty good! At least she got her wish!  It was a fun weekend! Thanks everyone for coming!

Zach's finger! OUCH!

Last Monday night the kids were outside playing and Morgan had been out there with them.  He came in for a bit and we were both inside and heard this blood curdling scream come from outside and we both went running to see what it was.  Just then Zach came flying through the back door with blood dripping everywhere! I thought his finger had been cut off.  He was freaking out cuz of all the blood and couldn't even tell us what happened.  As soon as Morgan started washing if off under the sink we could tell it needed stitches.  So, we just went up to the Urgent Care on Main Street and 2 hours later came out with 2 layers of stitches it was so deep! They also gave him an x-ray and found out that he had fractured his finger in 2 different places! The wind was blowing really hard that night, and he was going through the side garage door and turned around to close it right when the wind caught ahold of it, and it slammed right on his finger! Luckily nothing more happened and luckily he just played his last baseball tournament in Park City over the 4th of July!  He actually has one more tournament over the 24th, but we'll have to see if he will be able to play or not! I take him on Wed. to get his stitches out and see what the doc says!
I know you can't really tell how bad it is in this picture, but you get the idea!

The doc stitching him up!

I thought this picture was so sweet of Morgan holding on to Zach's hand.  He was in alot of pain, and it was hard for us to see our tough little guy hurting like that!

ALL DONE!
(Before the splint was on)
