St. GeOrGe/ BaSeBaLL CaMp!

Over Martin Luther King Weekend we decided to leave the snowy weather here and take the boys to my dad's baseball camp in Mesquite. We left late Fri. night, in hopes that Halle would sleep in the car, she was awake the first 2 hours of the drive! We were trying everything to entertain her! Brinley's iPod worked for a minute, she loved the lights on it in the dark, and insisted on having the earbuds in!

She even thought it was a telephone for a minute! It was a long drive! I had to entertain her playing Angry Birds on Zach's iPod for 45 min. before she would fall asleep! Funny girl!
Brinley and Boston rode with my brother Rhett, I'm so glad I sent them to ride with Nate, they got there alot earlier than us, and were all snuggled in bed asleep by the time we got there!

The boys went to camp for 3 days from 9-5 every day. I felt a little crazy sending my kindergartner, but he LOVED it! And I wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't my dad putting on the whole thing! Boston was worn right out each day! This was a picture of my boy the first day! Gatorade mustache and ALL! Morgan was there with the boys running them back and forth to their fields they needed to be at and eating hot dogs! The girls stayed with me and my mom in St. George, and we would go watch their games every day. It was so beautiful there, and SO good to see the sun! It got warmer each day we were there, and was 72 the day we headed home! Oh how we hated to leave the sunshine!

Boston crashed every night on the way home from Mesquite, he didn't shower the whole time we were there, until the end of the 3rd day as soon as he walked in the door I stripped his dirty clothes off and threw him right in the shower and even washed him twice he was so dirty! :)
He would wake up so early the next morning ready to go, he was so excited after sleeping 12 hours! He told me his legs were tired from being on his feet all day.

On the 2nd day they have a few of the staff member talk to the kids on the hill. It was fun to hear their stories and gave the boys a little break. This was Boston as he was listening...

This is Zach...

Halle and Brinley watching Toy Story 3 at my mom's. She got so excited when it started. Of course she didn't last long!

Nate and Boston collecting leaves and putting them in a water bottle while they listened.

The kids before we headed home. Zach's friend Cody came with us for the weekend.
My mom and dad totally spoiled us while we were there! I didn't lift a finger the whole weekend and we woke up to pancakes, bacon, and sausage every morning! We all loved it!
She even made a nice lasagna dinner before we all headed home! Thanks for making it a fun weekend for everyone! We'll be back soon! :)
