TwAs ThE NiGhT BeFoRe CooPeRsToWn...

(My kids are super tired right here, I will explain Zach icing his elbow with a bag of peas... later!)

Twas the night before Cooperstown, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The luggage was set by the front door with care,
In hopes that morning soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in our bed,
While visions of Tom and Jerry danced in their heads.
And mamma in her p.j's, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long summers nap...

We leave tomorrow afternoon for Cooperstown, N.Y.!!! We are all beside ourselves we are so excited!
We have awaited this trip for 4 years, ever since Zach started playing baseball with the Lehi Tigers!
I feel like I have been getting ready for this trip for months, and it is finally here!
Hopefully we don't forget anything!
I will post with TONS of pictures when we get back!
YEAH!!!!!!

FaThErS DaY!

I took this picture of the kids with Morgan on Fathers Day, I just love it!
I know he feels lucky to have these 4 little kiddos to call him "dad"!
We went about our day, just hanging out! We started out our day with 9:00 church. Morgan usually has early meetings, but because of Fathers Day they were cancelled. I'm glad he was home and was able to see how fun it is waking up the kids for church! I don't know why it is every other day they are up by 8, but on Sunday we can't seem to drag them out of bed!
When we got home I made sausage egg McMuffins for brunch! Instead of breakfast in bed, he got breakfast in the recliner while he watched the Red Sox play! It made us all excited for our trip to N.Y. next week, where we will also be going to Boston to see a game!
We didn't do much that afternoon, I layed down with Halle and woke up and found Boston in bed with us, guess he was tired too! Zach and Morgan set up the sound bar for our t.v. that we gave him, Zach enjoys doing things like this, Morgan, not so much!
He cooked ribs on the grill for dinner, he loves grilling, so he didn't mind! They were so yummy! Morgan ALWAYS does the dishes on Sunday, but I let him have the day off! I know, it was really nice of me! I'm sure he wishes Fathers Day was every week! haha!
I hope he enjoyed the day relaxing, and being with his kids, he is such a good daddy! He would do anything for them, and is always concerned about their well being before his own!

Oh my goodness! I started this post long ago, and have never finished it! I'm not going to go into major details, but want it down for the record cuz there are so many fun pics! I went to the effort in going through them, I may as well do it!
In March we were able to go down to St. George with Zach's Tigers team for the March Madness tournament! As always we were able to stay with my parents, which makes it so nice! We had so much fun seeing everyone! My brother Rhett and his family were there too, and brought along their newest member of their family, "Gigi". My kids adored her, and she was a really good dog! Didn't have one accident on grandma's carpet! The first day of the tourney was St. Patricks Day, hence my kids "green" outfits!

Love that wind-up!

The girls with Gigi! They were in heaven and loved her!

The Tigers played against the Box Elder Bees who my cousins boy Carter plays on, and one of my very best friends Holly's boy Jake plays on! It was so fun to visit with them!

Halle playing with Zach after his game! She loves to give him hugs!

My cute kiddos!

On the way to the park we passed these Lava Rocks in Santa Clara.
Boston was so amazed, he had never seen real lava rocks before! We told him that after the game we could stop on our way back home to see them! He even brought a few treasures back with him!

Brinley

Boston with his treasures!

Lance and Halle had fun playing with Grandpa's gate at the top of the stairs!

Me and my mom took the kids to the pool, my mom was filing her nails and Halle wanted her to do hers, she totally sat there and let my mom do her nails, it was so funny!

Nate got to ride back to Lehi with us, the kids had my camera and took some funny pictures of each other!

Nice one Bos!

The girls made up a cheer for their brothers... not sure if this will work or not... They are so cute and their brothers #1 fans!

I am totally behind on my blogging, Easter? It is June now!
On the Saturday before Easter me and the kids ditched Zach's baseball games and I took them to the Easter Eggstravaganza at Thanksgiving Point. It was super busy and super cold, but we still managed to have a good time! My sister came and met us there too!

My cute little bunnies

Me with the kids

We loved the bumpy wagon ride! It was our favorite!

Boston was the only one that acutally did the egg hunt! It was CRAZY! There were more adults on the grass than there were kids! I didn't even dare take Halle out for fear of her getting trampled! Brinley was like, "Uh, it's o.k. mom". At the end of the day Chic-Fil-A sponsered a hunt that was for everyone which we got tons of free coupons for! We even went to lunch there afterwards, and we all ate lunch for $11!

I can't say my kids have had cotton candy very often, I let them get some as we were leaving, and I think they kinda liked it!

Halle couldn't figure out what I was putting in her mouth at first, but then she was like,
"Mmmmm sugar"!

I had to run to Costco after to grab some things and we found the Easter Bunny there!
Halle even let him hold her!

We met the boys at home to color Easter eggs! Halle was exhausted from the day and decided to take a nap! That's about when we decided to color eggs! I felt like a mean mom, but it was SO nice to have her asleep! She didn't even know what she missed out on!
(the eggs were still hot, and Zach was putting them under his armpits to keep warm!)

I couldn't get this pic to flip...

Brinley and Boston definitely enjoyed coloring eggs more than Zach this year, I guess he's getting too old! :(

Coloring eggs!

Zach popped a whole egg in his mouth and squished it between his braces! I hope it was the one he had under his armpit! Gotta love those boys!

Boston's hands were pretty colorful!

Brinley's too! Believe it or not, it came off in the bath!
(most of it!)

The kids wanted to go outside and have an egg toss! We tricked them and got 2 eggs out of the fridge that weren't boiled! Zach was a little surprised!

GROSS!

Morgan thought he was pretty funny...

Until Zach started chasing him around the house with the other egg!

Brinley and Boston's toss lasted about 30 min! They had an "unbreakable" egg! It kept landing on the ground and WOULD NOT break! We had some pretty good laughs... all while Halle was sleeping!
