TwAs ThE NiGhT BeFoRe ChRiStMaS...

Apparently Halle likes butter! She grabbed the whole tub off of the table while no one was looking, and then we caught her doing this...

Wasn't what she expected!

My sister spent Christmas this year, she decided we were more exciting than my retired parents! Thanks Son! She came over on Christmas Eve and after dinner gave the kids their presents, she always gives their presents early, she thinks they will be more excited about them, rather than opening them on Christmas Day! I think she is right!
She gave Halle these little twin babies, and she LOVED them! She carried them around all night and had to have them wrapped in this little blankie! I loved her little hands holding her babies in this pic!

My sister did a sub for Santa family this year, it was actually one of her students, and we were able to help her deliver their Christmas! Our neighbor had this Santa suit, so Morgan borrowed it and dressed up as Santa to deliver presents for the kids! It was a really neat experience that our family will never forget! You should have seen all of the things that were donated to this family! My sister did an awesome job organizing everything! We went over and helped her load everything to take over and it filled up the entire back of Morgan's truck! We took pictures, but they are all on her camera. The kids kept saying "They are so lucky, I wish we were getting all this stuff". It made me realize that we have a lot to be grateful for. I'm glad that we have a home that we could wake up together in and enjoy Christmas Day in, that we have a kitchen to cook all of our yummy food in, and have a place to sit down together and enjoy meals together in. My sister is always thinking of others, and how she can help someone. She has a very kind heart. I am grateful that she took this family in her hands this Christmas and allowed our family to lend a hand in helping her. There were many tears shed that night, and it truly was a Christmas miracle for this family!

Zach had a little fun trying on the suit himself!
He actually would have made a really good Santa...
if he were a LITTLE bigger! hahaha

The kids had fun pretending and sitting on his lap telling him what they wanted for Christmas!

Boston was so serious...

And Halle didn't know what to think... I was trying to get her to touch his beard.
She wasn't scared, just trying to figure out why bubba was in this weird lookin suit!

She actually let him hold her though!

Then it was time for Morgan to put on the suit, he waited till the last min. cuz he knew that it wasn't going to be that comfortable! Then we didn't have time for pics with all the kids, Halle was very mellow and not concerned at all that her daddy was dressed up as Santa!

Time for 1 group shot

And the kids started singing
I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus...
so, I couldn't resist!

Not sure what Halle is thinking right here!

Then it was time for the traditional Nativity play. Halle didn't hold quite as still being baby Jesus this year... I barely snapped this picture before she rolled off the bean bag!

The kids are always so sweet, wish they could be like this all the time!

I loved this pic of Halle giving her big sister hugs!

Boston chewing on his shirt. He seems to do that alot lately. Hopefully it's just a stage.

The kids didn't go to bed until 11 o'clock. Halle got a little grumpy, and this carrot was the only thing that made her happy!

The kids writing their note to Santa before they went to bed.
And leaving him special treats...
